ASL Browser

Manuel Alphabet

This link takes you to the ASL Browser on the Michigan State University site.  When you are learning Sign Language the ASL Browser comes in handy. Click a letter, it displays a list of words, select a word, and a Teacher keeps signing it until you select another.

Warning: Any link you click on this site, and travel to another site, always click your "Back" button to return or you lose your place and get knocked completely off the site.

ASL Pro

This is really a useful tool in learning Sign Language. It is an ASL Browser. It has a feature to test yourself in General Signs, Religious Signs, Finger Spelling, and more. You can learn the signs by testing because it's multiple choice. Just apply common sense. Try it! One little click will get you there.

If you go to the Michigan State University ASL Browser you will see that it has been dedicated to the memory of Dr. David Stewart.  Dr. Stewart was one of the chief investigators for the ASL Browser (ASL content) and was himself a profoundly Deaf man.  He and another professor at Michigan State University, Brian Winn, designed and built the Signing Online web site to teach Sign Language.  There is

no question that it is an extremely well built and professional site.  It is the best available means to learn sign language offered by anyone, anywhere.  I can assure you of that.  Course 1, lesson 1 offers a free trial if you would like to see how it works.  Just click on more info.  by Elizabeth Stewart  - Signing Online
